On June 27 of 1997, Dingqiu Industrial (the former name of Chengxing) was listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange (SHSE), with share code of 600078.

On December 5 of 1998, Chengxing Group became the largest shareholder.

In May 2001, Chengxing started its first vertical integrity project by acquiring 55% share of Mile Phosphorus Electricity in Yunnan. 

In November 2001, private-owned railway logistic system for yellow phosphorus was put into use.Annual transportation capacity has reached 120,000mts by far.

In May 2004, the second vertical integrity project started in Xuanwei, Yunnan.

In September 2007, sodium tripolyphosphate of Chengxing brand was awarded "China Famous Brand Product" by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China.

In November 2007, Chengxing became the first production enterprises of food-grade phosphoric acid with qualification of export health registration, and passed the assessment of the first class enterprises by Inspection and Quarantine of Jiangsu Province in December.

In August 2012, Chengxing started to build a brand-new phosph-chemicals industrial park in Qinzhou, Guangxi, and 300,000mts phos acid capacity finished in the following year.

In December 2014, Chengxing was awarded the title of “China Quality Integrity Enterprise” by China Entry-Exit Quarantine Inspection Association. 

In July 2016, Chengxing was titled National Benchmark Enterprise of Environmental Protection in Petroleum and Chemical Industry, and Xuanwei was awarded "2015 Energy Efficiency Leader".

In December 2017, Chengxing was awarded the title of "Green Plants in Petroleum and Chemical Industry", and Mile was awarded the "2016 Energy Efficiency Leader".

In July 2018, DCP product passed NSF certification and obtained the "CGMP" certificate, marking an official entry into pharmaceutical and health care application. 

In November 2018, Chengxing was titled "Annual National Green Factory" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

In August 2019, Chengxing was granted "the Mayor's  Quality Award of Jiangyin". 

In December 2020, Chengxing won the "2020 COVID-19 Support Supplier Award of Excellence" from Colgate-Palmolive.

In August 2022, Wuxi Xingshengzhou Technology Partnership Enterprise (Limited Partnership) became the biggest share holder, and Jiangsu Huaxi Industrial Group the second at the same time.
